TMZ Reports
Police are
reportedly investigating the person who allegedly secretly recorded
the aftermath of the Kim Kardashian robbery, filming the traumatised
reality star moments after she was held at gunpoint.
A
three-and-a-half-minute video was published online this week, showing
the lavish apartment where the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star
was robbed of millions of pounds worth of jewellery.
The footage showed
someone walking around the apartment, capturing Kim on a sofa talking
to someone on FaceTime as well as the police during their
investigation.
Mother-of-two Kim,
35, appeared to be unaware that she was on camera in the video, which
could make the footage illegal in France as you're not allowed to
film people in private without their consent.
If the person is
found, they could reportedly face up to a year behind bars as well as
a £41,000 fine.
TMZ reports that Kim's team are now working with the police to get to the bottom
of who filmed the footage.
In the shock
video, apparently taken inside her Paris apartment, the star appears
to be sat at the end of a sofa with a blanket wrapped round her.
Police can be seen
scouring the premises as the camera pans round and reveals a room
full of people, with a TV on the wall and mirrors on the opposite
side.
It's unclear when
exactly the video was taken.
Two figures were
seen sat on opposite sofas, one allegedly Kim as she appears to speak
to someone via a video call, and the other her personal assistant.
It comes after
Kim's sister Khloe addressed the crime for the first time this week,
admitting her sibling is "not doing that well".
Reality star Kim
was left "shaken" after five armed men broke into her
private apartment in Paris, held her at gunpoint, tied her up, and
stole millions of pounds worth of jewellery.
The whole family
have remained in hiding since, cancelling public appearances and
scaling back their social media presence.
But Khloe was the
first of the klan to break her silence on Tuesday, as she appeared on
the Ellen Degeneres Show .
Admitted her
sibling is “not doing that well," she told the host the family
are all offering her vital support.
“I mean, it’s
incredibly traumatic what happened to her,” she told the host. “But
our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it
together, and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support
and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to
her.”
The whole family
have taken time out from social media following the ordeal, and Khloe
admitted they are now re-thinking their presence online.
“I think it’s
just a wake up call to make a lot of life adjustments,” she added.
“This is a
really serious matter for Kim. I think that’s really personal, as
to that emotional terror [and when] you could move on from that. It’s
a wake up call for all of us, but definitely [the focus is] just to
make sure our sister is okay.”
Kim famously cancelled an appearance
in Dubai just a few days after the attack, and is now scaling back
public appearances as she continues to recover.
“Just [to] make sure we’re protected as well as possible,”
Khloe said. “Like I said, we’re a family, we’ll do this
together. I think it’s important to make those adjustments and to
pull back a little bit I think is always smart.”
